For an important message from Patrick (sent on Thursday), please check your email.

*Call the church office at 204-256-8792 if you did not receive these emails.

Please Note:  For Windsor Park United Church to remain open, we need 4 (four) more people to volunteer for the Executive Council.

The new Executive Council consists of 8 people; the Treasurer (which we currently have), a Corresponding Secretary (who basically gets the mail, signs documents, and sends out cards etc.), the Regional Representative (who attends the Regional Gathering, brings Regional news to the Executive, and we are not sure what other duties the Region has in store for these roles as they are discussing these roles at the moment), and 5 members at large who form the Chair cohort (we currently have one person who has said they will do this role). The Chair will then rotate among these 5 individuals (each person being the chair for 2 consecutive months). This year, the members at large would be appointed to either a one-year or a two-year term. Each following year Windsor Park United will only have to find ½ of the members at large to replace the ½ that are finishing their terms that particular year.

Patrick leaves WPUC on April 30 and we cannot go ahead with a search for a new minister until our Executive Council is in place.  It is our collective responsibility as members of Windsor Park United Church to have people on this council so that we can move forward in finding a new minister.  Please prayerfully consider what the ministry of Windsor Park United Church means, both in your own life and the life of the community.  If you want this place and community to be here for you now, and in the future, please consider helping at this time.

Today’s worship leaders are: Rev. Patrick Woodbeck, Nancy Sulkers, Laura Steidl, Myrna Hagues and The Worship Choir.
