Helping our Neighbours – Southdale Fire

Windsor Park United Church will be helping those affected by the apartment fire in Southdale by supporting the children’s start to the school year.

We will be offering monetary support for those children going to Shamrock School and supplies to those going to J.H. Bruns High School.

We are currently waiting to hear back from the schools re numbers of students affected.  Once we know, we will let the congregation know what the needs are.

Previously collected school supplies will be donated on behalf of these students as needed.  The rest will go to other area schools in need.

We are also waiting to hear, via the United Way, if there is a coordinated effort to collect household supplies/clothing etc. for the families.
