OUR MISSION

Windsor Park United Church seeks to be a welcoming community. Based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, we nurture our faith and spiritual life by: worshipping and learning together, caring for each other, embracing our diversity, reaching out to those who live around us and working together in service to Creation.

Windsor Park Community Hub

Windsor Park United Church is excited and proud to announce the launch of the Windsor Park Community Hub through a Stay At Home Manitoba grant from the Province of Manitoba. This new initiative will be a place for us to engage in community and with community during these pandemic times.

This Hub is designed to connect, inspire, engage and entertain the Windsor Park and broader Winnipeg community during these pandemic times, helping foster community and connectedness safely – from home.

ALL are welcome to our virtual community – regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or spirituality. We will be providing a selection of some familiar and not-so-familiar community programming via Zoom and YouTube that will connect our community from the comfort of home.

This world pandemic has forced so many of us to make adjustments. At this time, it’s too early to tell when life will get back to “normal”, but that doesn’t mean things need to stop. History has proven that community and connectedness will always play a major role in our lives, even when our lives aren’t easy. We need to focus on the good, more now than ever, and let our passions flow wherever we are.

All you need is a high-speed internet connection, and a computer, tablet, or phone that supports video communication, and you have everything you need to be able to take part in online programs!

The Community Hub website will be launched on Monday, March 22, 2021. We invite you to check out this amazing initiative at windsorparkcommunityhub.com and please invite all of your friends and family to check out the great programming that we will be offering during the upcoming Spring Break.

If You Are Inside The Church Building

If for any reason you enter the church building you will find a log book and hand sanitizer. Please use the hand sanitizer, sign the log book, and record what areas of the building you are in (no matter how short your stay!). It is mandatory that you also wear a mask. This is to aid in keeping the building clean, sanitized, and safe.

Message from Patrick

If you feel the need to talk, to vent, to laugh, to hear another’s voice, please know that the phone and the email at the church is constantly being checked so if you need to speak to me, please call. If you get the answering machine, leave your name and number and I will call you back. We are in this together and we will get through this together, because that is what we do here at Windsor Park United Church.
